The agritourism part of the business was added four years ago. The aim is to welcome the general public, in particular business customers such as works councils, companies themselves and government departments, for team-building activities and seminars. The programme might include a morning work session, followed after lunch by team-building and relaxation activities such as quad biking, paintball or a massage at the spa. We try to accommodate all requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What we haven't done yet, we just haven't been asked to do yet! We bring the farm to these professionals in Kourou, with the ovens, quads and so on. Every time, our biggest challenge is that the guests always leave with a smile, a unique souvenir and the desire to come back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-quels-formats-d-evenements-accueillez-vous-ici\">What types of events do you host here?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jean-Hubert Fran\u00e7ois - <\/strong>We host events for between 10 and 450 people. For evening events, we can arrange buses to take participants back to Kourou or Cayenne, for example. If some people want to sleep on site, I can provide hammocks or cots. Accommodation is not my speciality, it's another job, but it's a service I provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/camp-maripas-guiana-forest-kourou\/\" data-id=\"212657\">Camp Maripas, an insight into the Guianese forest near Kourou<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-en-quoi-vous-distinguez-vous-sur-le-secteur-de-l-agro-tourisme\">What makes you stand out in the agri-tourism sector?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jean-Hubert Fran\u00e7ois - <\/strong>There are other agritourism sites that offer far more activities, but we're always in greater demand because organisers are looking for a 'home from home'.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-quels-sont-vos-equipements-dedies-aux-reunions\">What equipment do you use for meetings? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jean-Hubert Fran\u00e7ois - <\/strong>When people come here, they like to get away from conventional settings. There's a games room on the ground floor that can be set up for small meetings. But as we are welcoming more and more large groups, we have set up a 400 m\u00b2 space on the first floor, for around a hundred people. Welcome with coffee and cold drinks. Informal chat with two chefs from the Toques Guyanaises: Antoine Zul\u00e9maro (President) and Johan Pardonipade (Vice-President), who joined the Toques Fran\u00e7aises in 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>10h <\/strong>First group: Split into 2 groups. The first group set off on foot to the 20-hectare farm for a picking mission. This is an opportunity to discover products that are specific to the region, or in a format that is very different from the one used in mainland France (haricot kilom\u00e8tre). Discover the traditional Guyanese technique of \"boucanage\", in which each product is smoked naturally using local wood and sugar cane. The second group sets off on quad bikes on the Fran\u00e7ois Farm estate, in pairs. The two groups then exchange activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>12h30&nbsp;<\/strong>Cocktail aperitif, followed by a \"master chef\" workshop with the two \"Toques Guyanaises\", with participants getting behind the stove and getting their hands dirty. On the menu: dachine risotto, heart of palm pickles, smoked lamb, etc. Tasting of the meal, a moment of conviviality between participants. Swimming pool break to round off the meal.
