The Elipsos Fransisco de Goya hotel train runs every night between Paris Austerlitz and Madrid Chamartin stations. The hotel that was once the Park Hyatt Madrid has undergone a thorough renovation that will last almost two years. The programme includes a new d\u00e9cor with clear, elegant lines designed by the architect Thomas Urquijo, a reduction in the number of rooms - from 182 to 150 - to give each one more space and, at the same time, an increase in the number of suites, from 18 to 50. As the official hotel of Real Madrid, it boasts a beautiful swimming pool, giving it the feel of a city resort, but it is still very much a business hotel, as it can organise all kinds of events thanks to its nine meeting and function rooms. Up to 500 people can work under the large dome in the basement, before enjoying lunch in the garden. As its name suggests, this hotel offers only suites - 182 in all - from the most intimate to the most gigantic. A small but very pretty swimming pool in the basement, lit by windows overlooking the street and protected from view by small movable panels depicting clouds. Work, then, but also relaxation, with a rooftop swimming pool that can be covered by a glass roof for events. Tapas with foie gras and spiced jam, mini-burgers, unstructured desserts: the culinary approach is very personal. Just like the decor, which is absolutely remarkable, on the theme of the \"peineta\": hundreds of large old-fashioned women's combs line the walls and ceilings, while a gigantic advertisement from the 1950s extols the virtues of Mahou beer.
