This increase will take effect from 2 January. \"&nbsp;<em>This limited increase ensures that the offer is accessible to as many people as possible<\/em>&nbsp;\"said the rail company in a press release. It added \"&nbsp;<em>that overall, more than 50 million INOUI and OUIGO TGV tickets will be sold for less than \u20ac30 by 2026 and 1 in 2 leisure tickets should be purchased for less than \u20ac45, all classes and fares combined<\/em>&nbsp;\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sncf-new-optimum-class\/\" data-id=\"211595\">SNCF opens bookings for its new Optimum class<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the price of the Avantage and Libert\u00e9 cards will remain unchanged, at \u20ac49 for the former - used by 4 million passengers - and \u20ac349 for the latter intended for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sncf-business-fares-increase-5\/\">business travellers<\/a>. The latter fare has been reduced to \u20ac299 for pro customers with a company contract. In addition to the flexibility of 100%, with an exchange and refund up to 30 minutes after the train's departure, the fare conditions linked to the Libert\u00e9 card also remain the same, i.e. fixed prices with a reduction of up to 45% in Flex 1.<sup>era<\/sup> as well as on the new Optimum class on the Paris-Lyon route, and up to 60% in 2<sup>nde<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sncf-increases-fares-for-2025\/\" data-id=\"188797\">SNCF increases TGV fares by 1.5% in 2025<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"462\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/sncf-gare.jpg\" alt=\"SNCF station\" class=\"wp-image-213849\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/sncf-gare.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/sncf-gare-300x213-derived.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/sncf-gare-18x12-derived.jpg 18w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/sncf-gare-100x70-derived.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-augmentation-en-avril-sur-les-abonnements-et-pass\">Increase in April on season tickets and Passes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If the fares of the Inoui and Ouigo TGVs increase\".&nbsp;<em>in average&nbsp;<\/em>\"1%, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/tgv-sncf-simplifies-numbering\/\">SNCF <\/a>go \"&nbsp;<em>re-evaluate&nbsp;<\/em>\"from 1<sup>er<\/sup> On 1 April 2026, the monthly payments for Max Actif and Max Actif + subscriptions as well as Weekly and Monthly Passes will be adjusted. This revaluation will be carried out by \"&nbsp;<em>differentiated according to destination<\/em>&nbsp;\"says the carrier. Here too, the conditions will remain in place, such as the possibility of exchanging tickets up to 30 minutes after departure, even if the train is full, on TGV Inoui and now on Ouigo trains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ouigo-ambitions-growth-sncf\/\" data-id=\"212093\">Ouigo confirms its ambitions for 2030<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ouigo-train.jpg\" alt=\"Ouigo\" class=\"wp-image-213847\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ouigo-train.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ouigo-train-300x225-derived.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ouigo-train-16x12-derived.jpg 16w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ouigo-train-80x60-derived.jpg 80w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ouigo-train-265x198-derived.jpg 265w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-highlight-box\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ouigo-nbsp-des-tarifs-en-hausse-de-73-entre-2017-et-2023\">Ouigo: fares up by 73% between 2017 and 2023<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration nationale des associations d'usagers des transports (FNAUT), which has delved into the latest report from the Autorit\u00e9 de R\u00e9gulation des Transports, the average price of a ticket is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ouigo-business-travel\/\">Ouigo<\/a> has risen from \u20ac19.80 in 2017 to \u20ac34.20 excluding tax in 2023, an increase of 73% over the period. A real cash cow for the SNCF, which has seen the number of passengers carried on Ouigo jump from 8.7 million in 2017 to 23.8 million in 2023, an increase of 174%, while at the same time traffic on Inoui TGVs fell by 1% to 100.2 million in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>And SNCF has no intention of slowing the pace, forecasting that its low-cost offer will account for a third of TGV traffic by 2030, thanks to a 30% leap in traffic via a renovated fleet increased to 50 trainsets from the current 38. SNCF hopes to carry 33 million passengers under this brand, compared with 25 million in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>In the face of this significant increase in Ouigo fares, Fnaut estimates that the average price of TGV Inoui tickets has risen by only 4% over the period, from \u20ac44.7 in 2017 to \u20ac46.6 excluding VAT in 2023. The SNCF, which combines its two brands TGV Inoui and Ouigo, estimated in its press release yesterday that one out of every two leisure tickets will cost less than \u20ac45 in 2026. And that 3 out of 4 high-speed customers will continue to travel at a reduced price.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sncf-salon-grand-voyageur-paris-gare-lyon\/\" data-id=\"215101\">The SNCF is (still) going to expand the Grand Voyageur lounge at Paris Gare de Lyon<\/a><\/p><\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SNCF is pleased to say that the fare increase will be less than inflation, forecast at 1.3% for 2026, with unchanged fares for the Libert\u00e9 card for business travellers.
