For Hawaiian Airlines, 2026 will mean an ambitious $600 million investment plan designed to fundamentally transform the passenger travel experience. A plan approved by its parent company, Alaska Airlines<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement was made by Diana Birkett Rakow, the airline's Managing Director, in the presence of the Governor of the State of Hawaii, Josh Green, the Director of the State Department of Transportation and Honolulu airport officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Known as the Kahu'ewai Hawai'i Investment Plan, this investment programme will last 5 years and will be an in-depth revolution not only of the on-board product but also of the technological offering and airport infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the CEO, this transformation will be carried out in cooperation with Hawaiian's customers, who have been involved in consultations on the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
