Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot made it official today at a press conference: because of the snow, French airports will have to adapt. KLM warned on Wednesday morning (10am) that more than 700 flights would be cancelled on 7 January. According to FlightRadar, KLM will have cancelled more than half its scheduled flights between Friday 2 January and tomorrow [Wednesday]:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 January: 202 (28 %)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 January: 294 (43 %)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 January: 398 (57 %)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 January: 463 (71 %)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 January: 417 (64 %)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 January: 600 (92 %)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p><em>delays related to aircraft de-icing and runway snow clearance are to be expected<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Brussels airport warns: \"\u00a0<em>Further snowfall is expected on 7 January. We are doing our utmost to minimise the impact, but delays in de-icing aircraft and clearing snow from runways are to be expected.<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-highlight-box\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-les-bus-parisiens-a-l-arret-le-rer-b-perturbe\">Paris buses at a standstill, RER B disrupted<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Another consequence of the snowy weather is that buses will not be running this Wednesday 7 January. RATP made this official early this morning: \"\u00a0<em>In view of the weather conditions, RATP has decided to suspend all bus services. As a result, the interruption is expected to last until at least 12 noon.<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RER network is also affected, but to a lesser extent.
