Lufthansa Group and Amadeus have found the \"miracle\" technological solution that will dramatically simplify the booking and management of flights for business travellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The emphasis is on the introduction of an \"Order ID\", a new identification number which will gradually replace the old reservation and ticket numbers and will group together all the elements of a journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This includes the flight, reserved seats, baggage and additional services such as upgrades or lounge access. This consolidation replaces the previous separate reservation systems and offers Lufthansa Group<\/a> a complete overview of their trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Standardisation will enable passengers to reschedule their journeys more quickly and easily in future, add services to their bookings or change their travel plans at short notice - particularly in the event of irregularities or flight changes. With just one click, they will receive alternative solutions and other important information about their journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new technological basis also creates greater transparency for passengers: in future, they will be able to see more easily what services are included in their booking and what additional options are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Order ID is being introduced gradually on several Lufthansa Group airlines and complements existing services such as Travel ID, which will continue to display the personal customer profile.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
