In addition to this makeover, its managers envisaged a \"broader mission\", in which MICE would play a more prominent role. This ambition is now taking shape with the arrival of a new module dedicated to event management. After all, the \"shadow work\" that Perk intends to tackle does not spare MICE management: one employee in two (50 %) who organises team events does so outside his or her main duties, according to the platform's managers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/travelperk-nom-juste-perk\/\" data-id=\"210635\">\"His name is Perk. And to no one's surprise, it will be using artificial intelligence to assist it in its - vast - mission. Perk Events aims to cover events for 9 to 5,000 people automatically. It offers centralised management of events and bookings, and facilitates the sourcing of MICE venues with intelligent matching and transparent pricing. In terms of transport, Perk Events should enable automated coordination of group travel. In terms of interaction with participants, the module offers dedicated event pages with customisable administrative controls. This enables the organiser to share key information about the event, manage registrations and deal with specific constraints such as dietary restrictions. Perk Events also incorporates reporting tools. While Perk's managers are naturally highlighting the capabilities offered by AI, they are not forgetting the expertise of the teams who have to support the most complex requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p><em>AI takes care of the repetitive tasks, and our teams of experts step in when needed. By connecting business travel, expense management and event organisation, the platform aims to become a one-stop shop for travel and event management. This positioning responds to a strong demand: 57 % of companies today complain that their event management processes are little or not at all automated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/mice-kactus-reservation-participant-management\/\" data-id=\"214895\">Read also: MICE: Kactus finally connects booking and participant management<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-highlight-box\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-le-mice-sous-automatise-les-chiffres-de-perk\">Under-automated MICE: Perk's figures<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>According to a study by Forrester Consulting commissioned by Perk, 57 % of companies (including 50 % in France) have little or no automation of their event-driven processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The main sticking points identified were: finding locations (39 %), managing budgets and approvals (39 %) and coordinating travel (37 %).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>According to Perk, 'shadow work' contributes to $1.7 trillion a year in lost productivity from non-essential tasks in six major markets.
