The federal government has just authorised American Airlines to launch this transition to digital technology, which has already been partially underway for several months. The company has already carried out a test phase with the tablet developed by Apple, and is now the first carrier in 1<sup>er<\/sup> plan to be able to use the equipment. The iPad replaces the numerous documents carried on each journey, such as flight manuals, which weigh around twenty kilos and consume unnecessary
