It's a destination whose appeal the events giant is maintaining, as the results for the past year confirm.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>By 2025, the group's four Lyon venues - Eurexpo Lyon, Centre de Congr\u00e8s, La Sucri\u00e8re and Matmut Stadium - were full to bursting: 500 events and 2.5 million visitors. In an extremely competitive market, both in France and internationally, our ambition is to continue this momentum, which will inevitably involve public, private and institutional players working together to promote Lyon and its economic and social development.<\/em> \"warns Sylvain Douce.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\">\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/interview-anne-marie-baezner-gl-events\/\" data-id=\"89081\">Interview with : Anne-Marie Baezner, General Manager of GL events' Lyon sites<\/a><\/p>\r\n<\/aside>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Among the new infrastructure developments: the extension of Eurexpo Lyon, with the construction of a new 7,000 m\u00b2 Hall 4.3.  It is due to open in October. At the Lyon Convention Centre, 35 digital screens have been added to the audiovisual offering, confirming the digital positioning of a venue that is also equipped with integrated videoconferencing and streaming solutions. Finally, we should mention the creation of a Convention Hub at the heart of the Eurexpo Lyon exhibition centre, which can host meetings, seminars, conventions and congresses for up to 10,000 participants.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>With 270 events already confirmed at GL events' four venues in Lyon, this is an ambitious start to 2026.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside
