A\u00e9roports de Paris (ADP) CEO Philippe Pascal and Deputy CEO Justine Coutard presented a good balance sheet for 2025 at a press conference.<\/p>\n
The ADP group generated consolidated revenue of 6.7 billion euros, up 8.9% compared with 2024, mainly due to traffic growth. The Paris hubs alone generated sales of 4.71 billion euros (aeronautical and non-aeronautical activities and real estate), up 9% on 2024. Net income in 2025 will be \u20ac426 million, down \u20ac17.4% or \u20ac90 million on 2024. \"\u00a0It should be pointed out that the exceptional contribution on corporation tax for large companies cost\u00a0<\/em> In terms of traffic, the dynamic in 2025 was in line with expectations. The ADP group just missed the 379 million passenger mark for its network of 26 airports, despite an increase of 4.2%. In Paris, passenger numbers rose by 3.4 % in 2025, or 106.96 million passengers. CDG handled 72.03 million (+2.5%) and Orly 34.93 million (+5.5%). ADP points to a steady decline in domestic traffic.<\/p>\n \"\u00a0It is 70% below the pre-Covid level. But we are seeing strong growth towards North America, Africa and once again Asia-Pacific, even if traffic with China remains 35% below the pre-Covid level, due to traffic rights issues as well as a reduced offer from Air France, which is banned from flying over Russia. The traffic situation in Paris today thus shows ever greater internationalisation.<\/em>\" says Philippe Pascal.<\/p>\n For the Group, the subsidiary TAV Airports<\/span><\/span> posted a 6.3 % increase in traffic, driven by its international assets, in particular theTbilisi International Airport<\/span><\/span>. In India, GMR Airports reported a 3% increase in traffic, which was somewhat weighed down by economic factors in Delhi (Air India crash, geopolitical tensions with Pakistan, runway works) that slowed growth. \"\u00a0However, it should be noted that\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/span>Delhi is our biggest airport in terms of passenger volume. It has overtaken CDG with almost 79 million passengers.<\/em>\" added the ADP CEO.<\/p>\n Nevertheless, 2025 will be the year in which we reassess how Paris airports - and CDG in particular - will keep pace with growth. \"\u00a0No more Greenfield terminals. On the contrary, we are now working on \"millimetre\" expansions by adapting and enlarging our current terminals to the development of traffic.<\/em>\" says Justine Coutard.<\/p>\n ADP is working in consultation with regional stakeholders on future traffic expansion. Last December, the company presented its investment plan on an unprecedented scale, since it is being carried out without any new infrastructure. ADP will invest \u20ac8.4 billion to modernise its Paris hubs. Nearly half of this will go to CDG, which should see its capacity increase by 18 million passengers over an 8-year period.<\/p>\n According to Justine Coutard, the Group made the more complex choice of renovating and optimising the existing infrastructure, while maintaining operations. This project, one of the largest in the Paris Region over the next few years, also has to meet ambitious environmental targets: modular construction, greater use of off-site facilities, and massive recycling of materials, particularly during the renovation of runways.<\/p>\n This modernisation will also involve the passenger experience. \"\u00a0This is not simply a question of adding volume. The strategy is to intervene in a very targeted way where friction points have been identified: excessive waiting times, operational bottlenecks, insufficient fluidity. Our ambition is twofold: to increase capacity while raising the level of service quality.<\/em>\" says Justine Coutard.<\/p>\n For example, ADP is working on converting offshore aircraft workstations into contact workstations, linked directly to the terminals via gateways. \"\u00a0It is a structuring lever: better passenger experience, smoother rotations for airlines, improved punctuality, greater efficiency than with bus transfers, etc.<\/em>\" she explains. Around 90% of aircraft are already being processed by contact today, although there are variations from terminal to terminal.<\/p>\n One of the major milestones in the metamorphosis of Roissy will be the arrival of the CDG Express. \"\u00a0The date is official: the service will start on <\/em><\/span><\/span>27 March 2027 and will link the Gare de l'Est<\/span><\/span> to CDG 2 in 20 minutes, with a train every quarter of an hour<\/em>\" says Philippe Pascal.<\/p>\n ADP is involved on the infrastructure side alongside SNCF R\u00e9seau<\/span><\/span> and Caisse des D\u00e9p\u00f4ts. At the terminal, it will require a total adaptation of the current CDG2 station.<\/p>\n \"\u00a0The station currently handles 15 million passengers (RER B and TGV). With the arrival of the CDG Express, then line 17 and Roissy-Picardie, this figure could rise to 30 and then 45 million in the long term. By becoming a major intermodal hub, it will require major improvements. For example, offering a linear route between the station and the terminals.<\/em>\" continues the Group CEO.<\/p>\n ADP is also working on the possibility of checking in baggage outside airport terminals. Experiments with remote check-in were successfully carried out during the Olympic Games. An area has been set aside at Gare de l'Est for similar systems.<\/p>\n \"\u00a0We are also carrying out tests with Accor<\/span><\/span> for baggage collection directly from the hotel. However, the question remains open: should we industrialise check-in at stations, develop home collection, or combine the two solutions?<\/em> ? observes Philippe Pascal.<\/p>\n The opening of the CDG Express will be accompanied by a complete overhaul of the names of the terminals at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport<\/span><\/span> was launched to coincide with the arrival of the CDG Express<\/span><\/span> in March 2027. The terminals will be numbered and the doors identified by letters, according to a more legible and international standard.<\/p>\n With higher taxes on air tickets, continuing geopolitical uncertainties and a gloomy economic situation in France, ADP is forecasting more modest growth in traffic in Paris in 2026, in the order of 1.5% to 2.5%.<\/p>\n \"We expect a further decline in traffic with mainland France, and moderate growth in traffic with the Schengen area, due in particular to the impact of taxes. On the other hand, dynamic growth in international traffic, differentiated according to geographical clusters, will continue\".<\/em>says ADP Group management.<\/p>\n However, according to Philippe Pascal, traffic in Paris is set to exceed that of 2019, the pre-Covid year. The slower pace than before is explained by the fact that this traffic will have returned to its 2019 level.
