Le Lufthansa <\/strong>Group<\/a> recorded its best ever performance in terms of revenues in 2025, while continuing its strategic transformation. The German airline group saw its revenues rise by 5 1TP3Q to 39.6 billion euros, compared with 37.6 billion in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carsten Spohr, Chairman of the Lufthansa Board of Management, was delighted with this result: \" Exactly 100 years ago, the first Lufthansa was founded. The values of quality, reliability and connectivity continue to drive our success today.<\/em>he said before announcing the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adjusted operating profit (EBIT) rose sharply to \u20ac2 billion, compared with \u20ac1.6 billion a year earlier, enabling the operating margin to increase to 4.9 1Q3. Net profit remained stable at \u20ac1.3 billion, penalised by exceptional tax effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything seems to have smiled on the German airline last year. The Group's passenger airlines carried 135 million passengers in 2025. This represents an increase of 3 % over one year. The load factor reached a record level of 83.2 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passenger segment sales rose by 3 % to 30.1 billion euros, while the airlines' combined operating profit was 1.1 billion euros, up 4 %. ITA Airways<\/a>recently integrated into the Group, contributed 90 million euros to the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
