The TMC has redesigned its inventory infrastructure \u2013 with the help of AI, of course \u2013 to \u201csolve the most persistent challenge in the accommodation sector: the inconsistency of room and rate information\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/navan-hilton-direct-connection\/\" data-id=\"226463\">Navan and Hilton direct connection<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Navan is therefore bringing order to the maze of flows that market players have to aggregate: direct connections, GDSs, online travel agencies (OTAs), etc. This complexity often leads to duplication, and a gap between the traveller's expectations and the reality of the Deluxe King they have booked... &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quite a challenge, given that Navan's inventory now stands at 2.6 million establishments. But by reorganising its inventory from top to bottom, Navan is laying sound foundations that will enable it to expand its inventory and set up new direct connections more easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/navan-edge-assistant-ia-pdg\/\" data-id=\"218135\">Navan Edge: the promise of an AI assistant worthy of a CEO<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p><em>Travellers should not have to investigate and play detective to find out whether two different room advertisements are in fact identical.<\/em><\/p><cite>Dane Molter, Navan<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>For the time being, Navan has set up a unified room catalogue, which organises and 'cleans' the information for each establishment listed.
