The average nightly rate (Average Daily Rate, ADR) in the capital reached \u20ac227.32 last month. The Paris hotel industry also stood out for its growth in revenue per room (RevPAR): the capital was the only European destination, along with Budapest, to post a double-digit increase (+16.41TP3Q to \u20ac179.48).<\/p>\n<div>More generally, as in October, European hotels are posting solid performances as 2011 draws to a close: \"despite a deterioration in the general economic environment, demand remains on the rise, with an increase of 4.4% recorded last month\", points out Elizabeth Randall, Managing Director of STR Global.<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div>November was a positive month overall for the European hotel industry, with an increase in demand logically followed by an increase in rates.
