On March 31st, the operator founded by Xavier Niel launched the Forfait Free Max, presented as a world first. This is a plan that includes unlimited 5G\/5G+ in mainland France, but also, and most importantly, a 4G\/5G internet connection in over 135 destinations worldwide. According to a YouGov study conducted for Free in 2026, 95% of French travellers use their phone abroad, but only 81% of them disable their mobile data as a precaution, with a third having already experienced an unexpected bill upon their return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
