It follows <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/lufthansa-strike-april\/\">The strike on April 10th<\/a> which had been called by the cabin crew unions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This time, it comes from the airline's pilots, who feel unsatisfied with the lack of progress since the strike on 12 and 13 March and the proposals from their management. <em>Employers have shown no tangible willingness to find a solution during several collective disputes.<\/em>\"said Andreas Pinheiro, president of the Vereinigung Cockpit union, which initiated the movement.\" <em>Although we deliberately refrained from any strike action during the Easter holidays, no serious proposal has been put forward.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The consequence of this movement, which Lufthansa's management deems incomprehensible: Lufthansa, Lufthansa CityLine, and low-cost Eurowings flights are severely disrupted this Monday. On Tuesday, Eurowings pilots will return to work, but Lufthansa and Lufthansa CityLine passengers will continue to face flight cancellations.<\/p>\n<p>There is a single exception however: flights to parts of the Middle East\/Africa will still be operated, the union promised. This concerns Azerbaijan, Egypt, or Saudi Arabia, among others. The union is due to meet with Lufthansa management on Wednesday in Frankfurt.
