The IHG group is continuing its expansion in India. Already with around fifty hotels operating in the country, the hotelier plans to open another hundred, with openings spread across the next three to five years. In this context, IHG has partnered with India's leading private airport operator, Adani Airport Holdings, to develop five hotels across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in airport zones or metropolitan areas at the gateways to the subcontinent, these establishments will add 1,500 rooms and a new brand to IHG\u2019s offering in India. Joining the Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, voco, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands, the luxury and lifestyle Kimpton brand will make its debut in Jaipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under this agreement, in addition to the Kimpton in Jaipur \u2013 an InterContinental is also expected in 2030 in the city, outside of this partnership \u2013 Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels will be integrated into future mixed-use developments within the Adani Airport Cities, planned for Navi Mumbai, Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IHG loyal to ANA in Japan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

IHG's relationships with the aviation industry are also strengthening in Japan, and with a long-standing partner, All Nippon Airways (ANA). While the British group's expansion in the country owes much to the alliance formed in 2006 for the co-branding of ANA Hotels with Crowne Plaza, InterContinental and Holiday Inn brands \u2013 for a network of around fifty hotels today \u2013 IHG and ANA have announced a major partnership in cross-loyalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From October, IHG One Rewards members and ANA Mileage Club members will notably benefit from a two-way exchange of points between ANA miles and IHG One Rewards points, or double accrual of points on selected ANA flights. Status recognition by each programme is also essential.
