An in-house hotel kitchen, but one that will benefit business travellers: the Mews platform has partnered with Uber to allow bookings to be made directly from the hotel's management system, its PMS. Covering the entire spectrum of property management, Mews equips 15,000 clients in 85 countries, and hotels equipped with its solutions will soon be able to very easily arrange an Uber transfer on arrival or to a train station or airport. What's more, it will be possible to integrate the cost of the journey into the hotel bill while tracking the guest's journey in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While the integration of Mews and Uber is under development, a pilot project will be launched this year, potentially heralding a supplementary revenue stream for hoteliers who offer this service to their guests. A study carried out by Mews in 2026 indeed revealed that guests generally arranged their own transport and spent an average of $50 per stay on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As transport bookings are one of the most common requests from guests, hoteliers will be able to offer them Uber rides as part of their stay rather than as an off-site transaction.
