{"id":223849,"date":"2026-06-02T10:37:20","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T08:37:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=223849"},"modified":"2026-06-29T15:01:32","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T13:01:32","slug":"middle-east-flight-cancellations-june","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/middle-east-flight-cancellations-june","title":{"rendered":"Middle East: Updated situation on cancelled flights in June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Updated 29 June at 15:00<br><\/strong>An updated assessment, company by company, of cancelled flights in June in the Near and Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-compagnies-europeennes\">European companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AIR FRANCE-KLM <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AIR FRANCE: flights to Tel Aviv suspended until 1<sup>er<\/sup> July, with those for Beirut and Dubai suspended until 5 July (or 6 July for flights departing from Dubai).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TRANSAVIA: Services to Tel Aviv and Beirut suspended until 6 September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KLM: services to Dubai, Riyadh and Dammam until August 9th. The Dutch airline also announces disruptions on its flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut until July 9th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lufthansa Group<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Middle East<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LUFTHANSA, SWISS and ITA AIRWAYS: resumption of flights to Tel Aviv on 1<sup>er<\/sup> July, so Austrian Airlines took them over on June 1st. Only BRUSSELS AIRLINES has suspended its flights to Israel until further notice. Flights to Amman and Beirut by all these companies are also expected to resume on October 24th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Middle East:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines: services to Dubai suspended until September 13th, no resumption of flights to Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Dammam, Erbil, Muscat, Riyadh, Tehran or Amman before October 24th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BRITISH AIRWAYS: services to Doha suspended until 1<sup>er<\/sup> August and Riyadh until 8 August according to Reuters. As for flights to Dubai, Tel Aviv, Bahrain and Amman, they are paused for the summer season and will not resume before 25 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air Europa will resume its service to Tel Aviv on 29 June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FINNAIR: Doha service suspended until October 2nd, no resumption of flights to Dubai is scheduled before October either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IBERIA is suspending its flights to Tel Aviv and Doha, but is re-routing its customers via codeshare flights with EL AL and Qatar Airways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LOT Polish Airlines: service to Beirut suspended until June 27 and to Riyadh until June 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TURKISH AIRLINES : see<a href=\"https:\/\/www.turkishairlines.com\/en-tr\/flights\/flight-status\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> The airline's website for flight status<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WIZZ AIR has suspended its links to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Amman until mid-September, according to Reuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-compagnies-du-golfe\">Gulf Companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>EMIRATES is operating a schedule that is close to normal, with over 135 destinations on offer, representing 75% of its pre-crisis capacity. Emirates serves Paris with 21 weekly flights, all operated by the A380, Nice with a daily service also operated by the A380, and Lyon with four weekly flights operated by the A350. Most of the world\u2019s major cities are also included in its flight schedule (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.emirates.com\/fr\/french\/book\/flight-schedules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">see his website<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ETIHAD has bolstered its programme with 80 destinations served to or from Abu Dhabi. Etihad offers two daily connections to Paris-CDG and four flights per day to London Heathrow. Daily services to Bangkok, Dublin, Geneva, New York, Seoul, Singapore, Tel Aviv and Zurich are also planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/companies-gulf-standardisation-timetable-dete\/\" data-id=\"220161\">Also to read: Gulf airlines regain strength with the start of summer schedules<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>GULF AIR, having temporarily suspended its services to Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia, gradually resumed operations in Bahrain, initially with a network of 75% in May, which was increased to 100% from 1<em>er<\/em> June. Bahrain notably serves Paris and Nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KUWAIT AIRLINES, after using Dammam Airport, repositioned its flights to Kuwait Airport at the end of April with destinations on offer including London, Istanbul, Beirut, Cairo, Riyadh, Mumbai, Manila and Guangzhou, among others. The service to Paris, currently offered four times a week, will increase to five weekly flights in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oman Air is operating its network to Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa, as well as to Middle Eastern capitals, as normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qatar Airways will be flying to 160 destinations from Doha this summer, from mid-June until 15 September. The airline now serves 41 airports in Europe, following the resumption of routes to Prague, Zagreb, Brussels, Lisbon, Budapest, Oslo, Belgrade and D\u00fcsseldorf. This flight schedule already included Nice since mid-May, and Paris for some time already. From mid-June, Qatar Airways will also be increasing the frequency of its flights between Paris-CDG and Doha, from 18 to 21 flights per week, two-thirds of which will be operated by A380.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.qatarairways.com\/en\/rebooking-options.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">see his website<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-compagnies-du-proche-orient\">Middle Eastern Companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>EL AL has returned to its normal network from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport. Nevertheless, in light of the current security situation and persistent uncertainties, the airline explained that it was currently offering, as of the 9th of June, \"\u00a0<em>greater flexibility for flight changes and cancellations<\/em>\" . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MIDDLE EAST AIRLINES (MEA) offers scheduled flights to most destinations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Paris, Dubai, Jeddah, Istanbul, Cairo, Riyadh and Doha benefit from at least two daily flights from Beirut, while London, Frankfurt, Amman, Abu Dhabi and Baghdad have at least one flight per day. Other European destinations served by the Lebanese company include: Athens, Brussels, Geneva, Madrid, Milan and Rome. Its routes to Kuwait, temporarily cancelled between 10 and 14 June due to the Kuwaiti sky ban on foreign airlines by local civil aviation, will resume normally on 18 June, with four weekly flights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Royal Air Maroc will resume its flights from Casablanca to Doha on the 1st.<sup>er<\/sup> July, then to Dubai on July 3rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ROYAL JORDANIAN is proposing an almost normal flight schedule at Amman airport, particularly for services to major European capitals, including Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-compagnies-americaines-et-asiatiques\">American and Asian companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>AIR CANADA: services to Dubai and Tel Aviv suspended until September 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>American Airlines: no flights to Tel Aviv and Doha until early 2027.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CATHAY PACIFIC: Dubai and Riyadh services suspended until 31 August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CHINA EASTERN: no resumption of the Shanghai Pu Dong \u2013 Abu Dhabi link before the 1st<sup>er<\/sup> September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DELTA AIR LINES: New York-Tel Aviv flights suspended until September 6th and Atlanta-Tel Aviv until December 18th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JAPAN AIRLINES: Flights Tokyo Haneda-Doha cancelled until 31 August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MALAYSIA AIRLINES: Resumption of flights to Doha on 2 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Singapore Airlines: Dubai service suspended until August 2nd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNITED AIRLINES: Resumption of flights to Tel Aviv and Dubai expected on September
