To be a guardian and protector of nature, rather than its master and owner: this is the spirit of a seminar house belonging to the Chateauform group, located in the upper Chevreuse valley, the Ch\u00e2teau Regen\u2019Ronqueux. A name that says a lot about the venue's ambitions. That is, not just to offset or limit the footprint of professional events, but to regenerate. To have an activity that makes life grow, whether human, collective, or ecological<\/em>explain Simon who, with his wife Camille, makes up the host couple of the house. To return to the genesis of this iconic project, we need to go back a little, to the time when Chateauform became a mission-driven company in 2023. An environmental and societal commitment that extended the group's humanist culture and resulted in the definition of a number of standards revolving around three main axes of the LEAD label: a zero-waste ambition, a low-carbon ambition, and a positive social impact. \u00ab We then told ourselves that we needed a flagship project, a home where we could push all the markers of our mission as far as possible and bring all 80 of our homes along with it. And we realised that, when we push the markers, it started to resemble a regenerative model. <\/em>\u00bb, explains Claire Schwartz, Head of Impact & Mission at Chateauform.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This spokesperson for the group's CSR policy has begun to open a new chapter in its history in 2024 around four main areas, the first being the transformation of the ch\u00e2teau to make it more eco-responsible. It is the slowest and most financially burdensome.<\/em>, remarks Simon. But we have the good fortune to be a laboratory and to be able to test things which, if they work, can be deployed elsewhere. <\/em>"For example, Regen\u2019Ronqueux is the first property in the group to have adopted smart energy management, resulting in a 15% reduction in water consumption this year, pending the installation of solutions for electricity.
