For once, there was no need to wait for those delays that new hotels are so prone to. Initially announced for the end of 2026, the Radisson Blu Medlock Hotel, Manchester has just opened its doors, offering a prestigious location for both football fans and business travellers visiting the British metropolis. Specifically, it is located within the Etihad Campus, which encompasses the home stadium of Manchester City's \u00abCitizens\u00bb as well as England's largest arena, the Co-op Live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To perfect this positioning as an events hub, the Etihad Campus is currently rounding off its offering with the development of Medlock Square \u2013 Medlock being the name of the river flowing beneath the stadium \u2013 as part of the transformation of its North Stand. This is a new year-round destination, the opening of the hotel being the first building block, which will be bolstered in the coming weeks by a host of restaurants, bars and cafes, a 3,000-capacity covered space, as well as a new immersive experience at the Manchester City museum, a stadium roof walk and a zipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain supporters will have a prime place to stay on 14 October next, when these two leading Champions League teams face each other. The hotel indeed features 401 rooms and suites, including Pitch View rooms that can be transformed into function spaces on match days and a spectacular 153 m\u00b2 Penthouse spanning two floors, featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms, in addition to a 25 m\u00b2 terrace and private access. This penthouse is also designed for corporate receptions accommodating up to 50 guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
