Faced with the enthusiasm of travellers for trains in general and night trains in particular, European Sleeper intends to launch a new service in April 2028 linking Brussels to Malm\u00f6 in Sweden via Copenhagen, Denmark. To achieve this, the sector specialist has partnered with RDC Deutschland Gruppe, a railway rolling stock leasing company that operates two night lines: Berlin-Hamburg-Stockholm and Hamburg-L\u00f6rrach (Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg) between northern and southern Germany. On this route, European Sleeper is expected to serve Antwerp, Rotterdam, The Hague and Amsterdam, among others. The planned journey time is 15 hours, with a departure from the Belgian capital around 19:00 and an arrival the following morning at around 10:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While the prices are not yet known, they are expected to start at around 60 euros. They will be much higher if the company introduces cabins with double beds and a private washroom\u2014a travel class that could appeal to business travellers. To board this service, travellers from France will first need to take a train between Paris and Brussels, such as the Eurostar or European Sleeper's Paris-Berlin service, changing trains in Brussels. At the other end of the line, they will also be able to continue their journey from Malm\u00f6 towards Stockholm, Gothenburg or Oslo in Norway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
