In practical terms, the earpieces emit light through the ear canal, imitating daylight. This light stimulates certain areas of the brain, helping to reduce the feeling of tiredness and nervousness in travellers. The <strong>test phase<\/strong> is due to start in March and run until the end of April on flights between Helsinki and Shanghai.
