This \"record figure underlines the airport's dynamism despite a difficult year\", says the airport management in a press release, which also reports a sharp increase in traffic (+9.9%) compared with 2010. Luxair, KLM and above all Swiss, Findel's three main carriers, saw their traffic increase by 5%, 13% and 15% respectively. The good momentum at Luxembourg airport should not slow down in 2012, with the hub posting a growth rate of 10% for the 1<sup>er<\/sup> quarter, and will soon see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/easyjet-lorgne-vers-les-voyageurs-daffaires-au-luxembourg-20120503.html\/\" data-drupal=\"node\/6944\" data-wp=\"25385\">the first low-cost airline in its range: EasyJet<\/a>. \"It is certainly no coincidence that the number of passengers in 2011 was the highest ever recorded at Luxembourg Airport\", says Tom Weisgerber, Chairman of the lux-Airport Board of Directors. He adds: \"It's no coincidence either that new airlines are regularly choosing to operate from Findel. This is the culmination of our proactive development policy.
