A joint press release published on 31 October noted the end of the conflict: \"Sabre and American Airlines announce that they have resolved their differences and renewed their current distribution agreement for several years\", the document stated, referring to \"a monetary payment by Sabre\" to American Airlines. For its part, the US carrier is continuing with its Direct Connect direct distribution initiative, and \"will negotiate with Sabre for additional technology services in the
