But according to the press release issued by the Spanish airline at the beginning of March, the time is approaching. And the agreement signed with Samsung should help to make Iberia a \"pioneer\" in new technologies applied to air travel. And even the first company in Europe to adopt what has been heralded for many months as <em>the <\/em>standard of tomorrow.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>NFC has the significant advantage of working faster than a barcode reader, at a distance of around 15 cm, even when the smartphone is switched off. It should speed up the various stages of the journey, particularly baggage check-in and boarding.
