As the main American carrier at London airport, United is in the front line. The airline has just unveiled its two London projects: the \"New United Club\", dedicated to members of the airline's frequent flyer programme and First Class travellers, and the \"United Global First Lounge\", reserved for First Class passengers. Between them, United's new lounges will offer more than 2,000 m\u00b2 of facilities dedicated to rest and work, connected to WiFi and equipped with eight showers. The New United Club, the first non-American representative of the new lounge concept developed by United, will be able to accommodate 280 people. The United Global First Lounge will be the eighth representative of the model, and will feature a rest area with beds. We are very excited to be moving into Terminal 2, and these large, well-equipped lounges reflect Heathrow's importance within United's global network,\" said Jake Cefolia, United's vice president of Atlantic &amp; Pacific sales.
