Whether they are members of the loyalty programme or have booked their rooms via the group's official channels - websites, mobile applications, direct calls to the hotel - Accor group customers will benefit from an ultra-technological and personalised welcome. Tested for a year in around twenty European establishments, this new service is now in place in 60 hotels in 13 countries and should be available in 1,000 hotels, i.e. almost a third of the network, by the end of 2014.<\/p>\n

In the run-up to the 2014 World Cup, fans travelling to Brazil should also benefit from this technological advance, which will accompany customers throughout their journey. Two days before their stay, they receive an invitation to check in online. Then, on the day of arrival, they will receive an SMS confirming that their room is ready. Practical information on how to get to the hotel will also be sent, such as means of transport and car park access codes. On arrival, the key, which has already been prepared, is handed over immediately, without having to go through the tedious administrative formalities. Finally, check-out is made extremely simple, as customers simply need to hand in their key to indicate that their room has been vacated. The invoice will then be sent to them by email.
