The group's hotel investor has announced that it has acquired a portfolio of 13 hotels from Tritax, for an investment of \u20ac89 million. Twelve Ibis hotels and one Ibis Budget are involved in the deal, which represents a total of 1,194 rooms. \"These transactions demonstrate Accor's ability to rapidly implement the strategy presented nine months ago,\" said John Ozinga, Chief Executive Officer of HotelInvest. \"This is an important step in the significant restructuring we are carrying out within HotelInvest, in line with our objective of creating value by optimising the profitability of our investments, while strengthening our position as the leading hotel owner in the economy and mid-range segments in Europe.\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 26 August, Accor announced the acquisition of 13 hotels in the United Kingdom.
