This makes British Airways the first British airline to use iBeacon technology in its lounges. \"The possibilities for making the most of mobile and digital technology are endless, but they need to be developed with real, balanced added value without overwhelming our customers,\" warns Elisabeth Ruff, Commercial Director France at British Airways. \"With this application, we have a unique opportunity to meet the needs of our passengers and make their journey even more enjoyable. They will now have access to useful information, such as announcements about their boarding gate or the password for Wi-Fi access, which adds real value to the travel experience\".<\/p>\n<p
