It cost almost 44.5 million euros - 50 million dollars - to transform one of the icons of the Paris hotel industry. This week, the Hilton Paris Op\u00e9ra officially unveiled the new face of a building inaugurated more than 120 years ago, on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition. \"We are delighted to be able to restore this flagship of the Paris hotel industry to its former glory, following a major renovation programme,\" says Simon Vincent, President and CEO of Hilton Worldwide in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA).
