Decorated by Jean-Philippe Nuel like the rest of the Melia Paris La D\u00e9fense, most of the 369 rooms, in shades of black, ivory and grey punctuated with red, let the outside light in. The large Standard rooms (30 m2) have an unobstructed view of Courbevoie, while the superior categories look out over Paris. The suites have a lounge with convertible sofa and a work desk with the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower in the background. All 73 rooms in the Level category have access to the Level Club Lounge, located in the lobby. Here, business guests can check in, have breakfast or, from 3pm, enjoy tapas accompanied by alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. The lounge also offers guests two small meeting rooms free of charge for one hour.<\/p>\n

\nAs for meetings, the hotel has 850 m2 of seminar space with eight rooms, three of which can be converted into a vast 340 m2 room, organised around a vast foyer where breaks and buffets are served. Smaller seminars can also be held in the hotel's restaurant, Le Miroir. To relax at the end of the day, they can also go up to the 19th floor to enjoy the view of Paris from the Skyline bar. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the same panoramic view from the fitness centre next door.<\/p>\n

\nMelia, which already operates five small boutique hotels in Paris, is counting on this hotel to emerge from the shadows and accelerate its growth on the French market, with a next establishment expected in Paris CDG in 2017. But the Melia Paris La D\u00e9fense is also a precursor of the Spanish group's future developments, which are very much focused on \"luxury hotels\".bleisure<\/a>\". In fact, in the same way as the Melia Vienne, which opened last year in Donau City, the new business district<\/a> of the Austrian capital, the Hotel de La D\u00e9fense is located at the heart of the city's economic activity, but with direct access to the city's tourist attractions.<\/p>\n
