According to the business travel agency, this trend can be explained by the forward-thinking nature of French business travellers. According to the barometer, the proportion of professionals booking their trips more than 14 days in advance has risen sharply (+47%) compared to 2013. However, this anticipation is not enough - yet - to bring down the price of business travel. The average cost of a trip is \u20ac285.71, a slight increase (+0.9%). This increase can be explained by price rises in rail (+2.4%), hotels (+1.1%) and air (+0.7%).
