We were not performing as well as we would have liked on the international front, an area which requires know-how that we were taking too long to acquire\": these are the words used by the company's head office. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/la-logistique-des-hommes-doit-ceder-la-place-a-lexperience-des-utilisateurs-jordy-staelen-3mundi-20141002.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-drupal=\"node\/9868\" data-wp=\"38343\" rel=\"noopener\">Jordy Staelen<\/a>co-founder and CEO of 3mundi, explains the <strong>merger with FCm Travel Solutions<\/strong>made official on 24 September.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gone, then, is the idea of strengthening the French market by acquisition, as had been very closely studied just under two years earlier, until negotiations broke down in the home straight with Frequent Flyer Travel Paris. \"It's a blessing in disguise\", says Jordy Staelen, clearly pleased with the new international status acquired by the business travel agency: \"We are now part of the French market. <strong>world's top 5 TMCs<\/strong> \". With FCm Travel Solutions, 3mundi has found a first-rate guarantor, with a presence in <strong>92 countries<\/strong>and renowned for its business travel expertise. \"We thought, pretentiously, that we had achieved a level of standards unheard of in France. But we had to roll up our sleeves and work very hard to reach FCm's standards\", notes the head of 3mundi, pointing out, for example, that the Australian agency includes no less than <strong>eight SBT<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From <strong>1st October<\/strong>As a result, 3mundi will coexist with the FCm Travel Solutions France brand. The former will handle national customers, while the latter will handle international accounts. This is nothing new for Australia's TMC, which has chosen to create its own subsidiary, FCm Travel Solutions France.<strong>working with local partners in 80 out of 92 countries <\/strong>where it is based. Successfully, according to <strong>8 billion euros in sales <\/strong>posted by FCm Travel Solutions in 2014. These figures are giving 3mundi's management wings: over the next three years, the business travel agency intends to <strong>triple its scope <\/strong>on the French and Swiss markets.
