They have unanimously mandated the management of Air France-KLM and Air France to do so\", explains the press release published on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The plan includes <strong>fall in activity<\/strong> Air France in 2016 and again in 2017, which will involve a reduction in the workforce. In response to this decision, the various unions have launched a <strong>call for strike action<\/strong> from <strong>5 October<\/strong> - date on which the plan in question will be presented to the Air France Central Works Council - but according to Alexandre de Juniac, CEO of Air France-KLM, it will not cause \"too much disruption\".<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Air France intends to speed up its transformation by initiating an \"alternative restructuring plan\" to enable it to \"accelerate the turnaround\".
