Are you seeing any major trends in the construction of conference venues?<\/h2>\n

Axel Schoenert - Each project is unique, but I've noticed that they all want to be very contemporary and also take into account the notion of sustainable development.<\/p>\n

What does this demand mean in practical terms?<\/h2>\n

A.S. - Surfaces such as roofs, which used to be neglected, are now taken into account and are often planted with vegetation or fitted with solar panels. Similarly, we take into account the treatment of facades by integrating opaque parts. We also look at how rainwater is processed. On the other hand, congress sites are becoming real living spaces open to the general public. They combine meeting rooms, offices, shops and accommodation.<\/p>\n

What major projects are you currently working on?<\/h2>\n

A.S. - We are working on a project in Stuttgart, Germany, combining offices, a research centre and conference rooms. In Paris, we have three major projects: the new headquarters of the Mutuelle Nationale Territoriale in the 9th arrondissement, the H\u00f4tel Beauchamps near the Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es, and the H\u00f4tel Vend\u00f4me in the Latin Quarter.<\/p>\n
