In just over a month's time, on 14 June to be exact, Nantes will have never seemed so close to Brussels. That's when Brussels Airlines will begin operations to Loire Atlantique airport, with twelve flights a week. The Belgian airline will therefore be offering two daily flights, with the exception of weekends. Business travellers are particularly targeted by this new programme, which adds a 13th French destination to the Brussels Airlines network. The carrier is also looking beyond point-to-point traffic, and intends to carry passengers beyond the European capital, in particular to the many African destinations served by Brussels Airlines.<\/p>\n
Richard Painvin, the airline's Commercial Director for Europe, is delighted with this launch: \"Nantes, the gateway to the Greater West, represents a new asset for the growing Brussels Airlines network,\" he points out. \"With this new Nantes\/Brussels route, we will be offering comfortable daily flights to the capital of Europe, as well as bringing more choice and competition to the market with a total offer of 1,200 seats per week.
