Following a relatively extensive - and visibly conclusive - test phase involving 15,000 travellers over a period of 18 months, easyJet is officially launching Flight Club. Presented as a \"new loyalty programme\", the new offer stands out on the market in that it is not based on the accumulation of miles.<\/p>\n
Club members will need to have flown at least ten times on the airline's network in the last ten years, with an average of one flight per year, or have flown a minimum of twenty times in the last 12 months, or have taken a seat on an easyJet aircraft ten times in the last twelve months, spending at least \u00a31,500.<\/p>\n
In the end, these conditions are fairly easy to meet for business travellers who fly all year round in Europe, and will give them direct access to a number of advantages. These include free and unlimited flight changes and a commission-free change of passenger name. The airline also promises Flight Club members the lowest prices, and undertakes to refund the difference if the traveller finds - within 48 hours of booking - a cheaper fare on another easyJet booking medium. In this case, easyJet even adds a discount of 10 % to be used on a future booking. Finally, the orange airline has set up a dedicated Flight Club customer service, and is planning preview sales and special offers.
\nThis new Flight Club is clearly aimed at the business travel segment, which currently accounts for 24% of travellers in France. In all, some 100,000 frequent flyers are involved, including 20,000 in the French market alone, by the end of 2016.<\/p>\n
