Aloft Boston Seaport and Aloft Santa Clara in the United States have come up with a very simple solution to these common travellers' annoyances by being the first to offer rooms that respond to guests' voices. This development is in line with the technological advances already presented by Starwood's trendy brand, such as the Botlr robot or ordering room service using emojis. At the beginning of the summer, Aloft also innovated with a streaming service tested in the New Orleans Downtown hotel. This innovative service, called RoomCast Powered by Chromecast, enables business travellers to stream content from their mobile device to the television in their room, quickly, intuitively and securely. \"\u00a0<em>Aim, click: you're there<\/em>\u00a0\"These are the words of those in charge of the project. An innovation that perfectly matches the expectations of new business travellers, as demonstrated by the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hotellerie-gbta-a-laffut-attentes-mobiles-voyageur-20160908.html\/\" target=\"_blank\">study published on 7 September by the GBTA Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With this new voice command, Aloft is going one step further. All you have to do is ask nicely on the iPad provided for your customers.<em>Siri, can you turn down the temperature?<\/em>\"All of a sudden, the atmosphere in the room becomes softer. The tablet, which includes an application for controlling the bedroom environment, uses the Siri voice recognition interface developed by Apple. \"<em>Siri, can you dim the lights for me when I want to watch a film?<\/em>\" ; \"<em>Siri, can you start my playlist, I'm in the mood for some music?<\/em>\" ; \"<em>Siri, which monuments are worth visiting near the hotel?<\/em>\"This virtual assistant has answers to almost everything.
