Its luxury brand Quorvus Collection has just opened in Lagos with the affiliation of the Emerald Grand Hotel &amp; Spa, while the mid-range Park Inn is preparing to make its debut in Mauritius. But it is above all its flagship brand, Radisson Blu, that is recording the highest number of openings. \"<em>Radisson Blu has more hotel rooms under development than any other of the 85 hotel brands operating in Africa today.<\/em>\"explained Wolfgang Neumann, CEO of Rezidor Hotel, at the Africa Hotel Investment forum. Since the start of the year, new Radisson Blu hotels have appeared at Abidjan airport, in Marrakech and Nairobi, and also in Lom\u00e9, Togo, in the tallest skyscraper in West Africa. At the same time, a long-stay Radisson Blu Residence was launched in Maputo, Mozambique. Last July, the African Union summit was able to appreciate the setting of the new Radisson Blu in Kigali, Rwanda. This 292-bedroom establishment is ideally suited to major events, with its 5,000-person capacity conference centre.
