While the two companies have already been working together for three years on the iDCab offering, this new financial windfall should enable Allocab to rapidly break new ground in France and beyond. The company, which describes itself as \"\u00a0<em>the leading VTC network in France<\/em>\u00a0\"plans to accelerate its roll-out by setting up in <strong>a hundred French towns by mid-2017<\/strong>while targeting <strong>ten european capitals<\/strong> by the end of next year.<\/p>\n<p>\" <em>This new stage in Allocab's development will enable us to<strong>further enhancing our offering<\/strong> for companies and individuals alike, from<strong>accelerate our deployment<\/strong> to strengthen our position as the leading VTC network in France and <strong>become the first French player in the sector to go beyond our borders<\/strong> to serve Europe's major capitals<\/em> \"says Yanis Kiansky, Chairman of Allocab.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>the deployment of revolutionary offers<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Business customers play a key role in Allocab's strategy, and the company's managers stress that they were the first to roll out a specific offering for corporate accounts. In addition, the VTC service has a proprietary technological platform ready for use on all SBTs (Self Booking Tools).<\/p>\n<p>Geographic expansion is not the only objective of this investment by the SNCF Group and the SNCF Digital Ventures fund. Allocab intends to \"\u00a0<em>serve as a basis for new innovative services for SNCF customers<\/em>\u00a0\"and provides for\u00a0<em>the deployment of revolutionary offers<\/em>\u00a0\". These will include <strong>sharing a VTC<\/strong> on journeys booked in advance, but also Allocab's attractiveness to drivers, particularly during peak periods.<\/p>\n<p>Against a backdrop of regular tension between the various players in the market, Allocab even intends to \". <strong><em>reconciling the players in the profession<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\". The start-up, founded in 2011, has now opened up its platform to taxis with a VTC or LOTI licence.\u00a0<em>to give a wider base of drivers access to VTC customers while improving the quality of service for customers<\/em>\u00a0\"say its directors.<\/p>\n<p>Allocab now boasts <strong>250,000 users and 3,000 drivers<\/strong>including 2,500 in the Ile-de-France region. The VTC service has set itself the target of <strong>double the number of users and drivers by the end of next year<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SNCF has just
