On their way to ITLM, the luxury travel trade show held in Cannes at the beginning of December, the heads of the Kerzner Group<\/strong> stopped off on 1 December at the Pavillon Ledoyen<\/strong>in Paris. This gastronomic event was attended by the directors of the Group's establishments - under the Atlantis, One & Only and Mazagan banners - as well as its French partners and the press. While savouring the menu devised by chef Yannick All\u00e9no, the hundred or so guests were able to discuss Kerzner's positioning and, above all, its ambitions for the years ahead.<\/p>\n

Jean-Gabriel P\u00e9r\u00e8s, the group's French boss, was able to take advantage of this 'home' stopover to set the course for his term of office. Just a few months after his appointment at the head of Kerzner, the former CEO of M\u00f6venpick Hotels & Resorts presented himself as \"the company's first developer<\/em>\". This development will involve major renovation projects, such as the famous Saint G\u00e9ran hotel. This icon of the Mauritian hotel industry will close its doors next February, for a period of nine months.<\/p>\n

But Jean-Gabriel P\u00e9r\u00e8s is thinking further ahead. His objective is clear: \"to make Kerzner one of the three benchmark luxury houses<\/strong> in the very, very high-end segment by three years<\/strong><\/em>\"he said at the start of the dinner. The Atlantis brand is set to expand in the near future, and the One & Only catalogue is set to triple in size over the next three or four years, to around thirty establishments.
