As well as its temporary exhibitions, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art boasts a fine permanent collection of works by Gauguin, Sisley, Monet and Rodin.... If you're in the mood for something different, the town's proximity to Germany means you can go for a walk in the Black Forest, pop into Baden-Baden and stop off at one of the thermal baths for which the destination is famous. Business travellers passing through the Alsatian metropolis at the end of the year will find that this is the place to be.<br \/>\nStrasbourg's Christmas market, an institution now exported from Moscow to Beijing.
