On 3 February, the Eurostar teams proudly unveiled their new new business lounge<\/strong>. A few hours later, it will replace the lounge previously used by European business travellers, freeing up space to expand the train company's waiting room. It will be accessible to Business Premier passengers and Eurostar Carte Blanche holders from 4 February.<\/p>\n

All in all, 166 seats<\/strong> Seating is spread across the different areas of the lounge, which are dominated by high ceilings and bordered by alcoves that make it easy for business people to chat in a hushed setting. The furniture is modern, heterogeneous and comfortable, and systematically complemented by USB sockets<\/strong> and wireless chargers<\/strong>. Together with the marble fireplaces, it contributes to the cosy atmosphere of the lounge, far from the hustle and bustle of the Gare du Nord, which can be seen in peace and quiet from the bay window. \"\u00a0Parisian chic<\/strong> and modernity\" are the key words of the work carried out by the architectural practice Softroom<\/strong>with works of contemporary art selected by The Hospital Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Move the Salon Business Premier<\/strong> to its new location truly transforms the travel experience<\/em>\u00a0\"says Christopher Bagot, director of the firm. \"\u00a0Located on the top floor of the station, we have rethought the exceptional architecture of this original building and created a succession of different spaces suitable for all occasions. From the light-filled workspace to the cocktail bar for a relaxing break, the Salon offers a multi-faceted environment to suit all needs and desires.<\/em>\"he adds.<\/p>\n

Once again, Eurostar has entrusted the keys to its gastronomic offering to the truculent Raymond Blanc<\/strong><\/a>the most 'British' of French chefs, or vice versa. At the back of this 'Parisian flat' is a new feature: the cocktail bar run by the London Cocktail Club<\/strong>. With its chic black and gold circular case, it is expected to attract a number of business people wishing to celebrate the signing of a contract or to network before catching their train.<\/p>\n

New destinations, new trains, wi-fi on board, and - therefore - a new lounge: everything is being done to win the loyalty of this precious business travel clientele.<\/p>\n
