And beyond mere theory, are we seeing any practical applications in day-to-day business?<\/p>\n<p>The answer is yes, according to the study published on 13 February by the heads of the <strong>Business Travel Show<\/strong>. The annual business travel show, to be held at <strong>London<\/strong> the <strong>22 and 23 February<\/strong> Next, we take a look at this extension of the field of Travel Management. All in all, <strong>178 buyers<\/strong> travellers were interviewed at the end of 2016, and their testimonies seem to confirm the growing importance of the phenomenon.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, 63% of those surveyed are responsible for group travel and\/or meeting management. This compares with 58% a year earlier. Above all, the managers questioned as part of this study now seem to be adopting a more proactive approach. <strong>streamlined approach<\/strong> in the field. Whereas 30% of those surveyed mentioned a structured approach in 2016, 60% now apply a real strategy in terms of purchasing and management.
