And that's two for NH Hotels in Marseille. Even before the opening, announced in 2014 and scheduled for 2018, of a 169-room NH Collection within the Eurom\u00e9diterran\u00e9e urban development project, the Spanish group has just been entrusted with the management of the Palm Beach hotel. Formerly under the Pullman banner, this seafront establishment along the Corniche will come under the Spanish group's management on 1 May 2017. Once the summer season is over, the hotel will close its doors in October for a complete refurbishment to bring it up to the standards of nhow, the Spanish hotelier's innovative brand for which Rem Koolhaas, Karim Rashid, Sergei Tchoban and Matteo Thun have all worked.<\/p>\n

Together with Italian designer Teresa Sapey, local architects Claire Fatosme and Christian Lef\u00e8vre will be working on a metamorphosis of the hotel, which will reopen under the nhow brand in the second quarter of 2018. Business travellers to the Phocaean city will then have access to 150 rooms and 15 meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 300 people, as well as a large swimming pool and terrace for relaxing.<\/p>\n

Already present in Milan, Berlin and Rotterdam, the nhow brand has other establishments in the pipeline, with a planned opening in 2018 in Santiago de Chile, followed by London in 2019, in a building designed by Foster + Partners in the Shoreditch district, and Amsterdam, within the RAI congress centre, for what will be the largest hotel in the Netherlands<\/a> with 650 rooms. With regard to its expansion in France, in addition to Marseille, NH Hotels will be opening in Toulouse with a hotel waiting at the airport<\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n
