This would represent the renewal of almost 35,000 aircraft. Boeing is more generous in its forecasts. The American manufacturer is betting on just over 41,000 aircraft. This represents a market of 6,000 billion dollars 5.300 billion for Airbus.

The two aircraft manufacturers justify their optimism by the steady increase in traffic over the last few decades. " Air transport shows remarkable resilience to external shocks. Airbus estimates that the latter two semi-continents will see average annual growth of 3.2%. For his part, Randy Tinseth, Vice-President of Marketing at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, has indicated that passenger traffic will grow by an average of 4.7% over the next twenty years.

Airbus and Boeing optimistic about the airline market in the years ahead

According to Airbus, over the next twenty years, the Asia-Pacific region will represent 41% of all aircraft deliveriesfollowed by Europe with 20% and North America with 16%.
