Fortunately, it is, <strong>Qatar Airways<\/strong> is no slouch when it comes to news: a few days after his call to tender for <strong>enter the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/qatar-airways-capital-damerican-airlines-20170622.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">capital of American Airlines<\/a><\/strong>Against a backdrop of turbulent diplomatic relations with its Gulf neighbours, the Doha-based carrier is making its presence felt on the French market this week with the launch of a new destination. The inaugural flight (QR 53) between Doha and Nice took place on 4 July. The <strong>Boeing B787 Dreamliner<\/strong> landed at Nice-C\u00f4te d'Azur Airport at 1.05pm, marking a new stage in Qatar Airways' development in France.<\/p>\n<p>A welcoming committee awaited the aircraft, including <strong>Jonathan Harding<\/strong>Vice President Europe of Qatar Airways, Dominique Thillaud, Chairman of the Board of A\u00e9roports de la C\u00f4te d'Azur and Jennifer Salles Barbosa, President of the PACA Regional Council's Tourism Commission. The official declaration is signed by <strong>Akbar Al Baker <\/strong>himself: \"\u00a0<em>This new route is a sign of our ongoing commitment to making travel easier for our passengers, both in France and around the world.<\/em>\u00a0\"says the CEO of the Qatar Airways Group.<\/p>\n<p>The company will now offer <strong>five flights a week<\/strong> between Doha's Hamad International Airport and Nice-C\u00f4te d'Azur Airport. The Boeing B787 has a two-class configuration. Business Class has 22 seats convertible into fully flat beds and configured as 1-2-1, and 232 seats in Economy Class (3-3-3).<\/p>\n<p>Qatar Airways is on familiar ground, as the airline already served Nice airport in the recent past.
