There are very few current trends that escape AccorHotels' radar. The hotel group is now interested in coworking<\/strong> - in partnership with Bouygues Immobilier - after moving into alternative accommodation with onefinestay<\/a>to events with Noctis<\/a>to luxury concierge services with John Paul <\/a>among others... Not to mention its core business, strengthened on the lifestyle side by stakes in the capital of 25 Hours<\/a> and Mama Shelter, which has also embraced collaborative workspaces with its Mama Works<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The sector is booming<\/a> and, according to estimates quoted by the hotel group, flexible spaces could represent in five years 10 to 20% of office space in France,<\/strong> compared with 2% today. To conquer this market, AccorHotels has joined forces with Bouygues Immobilier to create a 50\/50 joint venture to accelerate the development of Nextdoor co-working spaces. Launched at the end of 2014<\/a> by the Bouygues Group subsidiary, Nextdoor will have eight sites in France by the end of the year, including Paris St Lazare and Paris Lyon stations, as well as Lyon Part Dieu, in addition to La D\u00e9fense, Issy les Moulineaux and Neuilly sur Seine.<\/p>\n

The two groups are aiming for a total of 80 Nextdoor spaces by 2022<\/strong> in France and Europe, with a growth rate of 10 to 15 openings a year from 2018. To achieve this, Nextdoor will be able to draw on Bouygues Immobilier's expertise in commercial property, relationships with major accounts, site selection and urban engineering, while AccorHotels will contribute its unique expertise in hotel and concierge services, its loyal customer base and its distribution channels to develop a new customer base.<\/p>\n

At the same time, AccorHotels is in the process of structuring its collaborative accommodation offering by grouping together under a single brand, onefinestay,<\/strong> its entire portfolio of luxury rental residences. This means those marketed by onefinestay, of course, which was acquired by AccorHotels in 2017, those of Travel Keys, acquired last February, and also those of Squarebreak. To this end, the hotel group has acquired the entire capital of this company, in which it previously held only 49 % of the shares. The integration of these three innovative platforms will make it possible to offer travellers more than 10,000 residences with hotel and concierge services worldwide, in business cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Rome, as well as in leisure destinations such as Saint-Barth\u00e9l\u00e9my, Bali and the C\u00f4te d'Azur.<\/p>\n
