The introduction of the winter timetable at the end of October will mean the opening of three new destinations in Europe: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/nantes-atlantique-star-transport-aerien-francais-20161223.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Nantes<\/strong><\/a> (with a daily flight), <strong>Glasgow<\/strong> (four times a week) and Santiago de Compostela (once a week). From <strong>25 March<\/strong>the German company will be stationed at its Munich base <strong>five Airbus A380s<\/strong> which will be put into service on <strong>Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Beijing<\/strong>. The three destinations will be served daily with <strong>easier connections<\/strong> with the rest of Europe. The introduction of the Airbus A380s has resulted in a promotional fare campaign on the three destinations.<\/p>\n<p>The German carrier has also announced the <strong>resumption of the Munich-Singapore route<\/strong> from the start of the season <strong>IATA<\/strong> summer 2018. It will be operated by Airbus A350-900 with five weekly frequencies. This will be the first route to Southeast Asia operated by the brand-new aircraft from the Bavarian capital. The flight will compete with <strong>Singapore Airlines<\/strong>also operated by A350. However, at the end of September, the airline will cease its three weekly frequencies between Munich and <strong>Tehran<\/strong>served by Airbus A340.<\/p>\n<p>What's more, <strong>Eurowings<\/strong>Lufthansa's hybrid\/low-cost subsidiary, will begin long-haul operations next spring, complementing the routes operated by its parent company. This is an ambitious expansion, with no fewer than ten new routes to be inaugurated from the end of March 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Eurowings to operate A330-200 services from Munich from April <strong>Cancun<\/strong> (one flight\/week),\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/las-vegas-rien-ne-soppose-a-nuit-20160519.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Las Vegas<\/strong><\/a> (two flights\/week) and the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ile-maurice-luxuriant-paradisiaque-20170505.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mauritius<\/strong><\/a> (one flight\/week), followed in May by Munich-Fort Myers (two flights\/week), <strong>Punta Cana<\/strong> (1 flight\/week), <strong>Varadero<\/strong> (one flight\/week), Windhoek (two flights\/week); in June and July, routes will open to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bangkok-lere-de-linnovation-20161212.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Bangkok<\/strong><\/a> (two flights\/week), Montego Bay (two flights\/week) and Puerto Plata (one flight\/week).<\/p>\n<p>According to figures from Munich airport management, out of <strong>42.3 million passengers<\/strong> welcomed in 2016, 36% of them were in <strong>transfer<\/strong> on the platform. The busiest routes to and from the Bavarian capital are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/londres-destination-business-20170510.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>London<\/strong><\/a> (1.6 million passengers in 2016), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-temps-rayonnement-de-ville-lumiere-20160919.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Paris<\/strong><\/a> (965,000 passengers), <strong>Madrid<\/strong> (809,000), <strong>Dubai<\/strong> (742,000) and <strong>New York<\/strong>
