This was also apparent from the media appearances of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/norwegian-le-pari-du-long-courrier-low-cost-a-paris-20160219.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bjorn Kjos<\/a>CEO of the Norwegian carrier. The agreement reached in the spring between <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ryanair-vols-long-courriers-en-correspondance-air-europa-20170524.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ryanair and Air Europa <\/a><\/strong>confirmed the low-cost carrier's transatlantic ambitions. In the end, easyJet seems to have beaten its competitor to the punch, by unveiling the <strong>13 September<\/strong> a major agreement with Norwegian, which joins the <strong>new Worldwide by easyJet platform<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>a virtual digital hub<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It is presented as \" <em>the world's first flight connection service offered by a European low-cost airline<\/em> \". EasyJet intends to rethink the connectivity offered until now by its competitors: \" <em>until now, traditional airlines have built their connectivity on costly and complex interline agreements and code-sharing procedures<\/em> \"As easyJet's managers point out, their preference is for \" <em>sales and self-connection partnerships and sales partnerships through a <strong>virtual digital hub<\/strong> which will offer the same type of connectivity, but in a simpler and more efficient way<\/em> \".<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>negotiations already well advanced with carriers in the Middle East<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In short, easyJet is connecting its short and medium-haul network to Norwegian's transatlantic flights. The airport of <strong>London Gatwick<\/strong> will be the <strong>hub<\/strong> of this interface, but <strong>Paris-CDG<\/strong> could also soon benefit from this new strategy. Indeed, the press release published on Wednesday makes no secret of the destinations targeted by the airline: \" <em>easyJet plans to expand to other key European airports such as Milan Malpensa, Geneva, Amsterdam, Paris Charles De Gaulle and Barcelona.<\/em> \".<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In addition, easyJet intends to <strong>integrate other partners into its \"Worldwide by easyJet\" platform<\/strong>and the company's managers even mention \" <em>negotiations already well advanced with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/moyen-orient-compagnies-golfe-20170711.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Middle and Far East carriers<\/strong><\/a>among others<\/em> \".
